“With Akal Purakh Waheguru Jee's Hukam and Kirpa, under the guidance and leadership of Shabad Guru Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee, with the loving support & encouragement by the sangat and Management Committee, a nishkam sewa in the form of Gurmat Classes" began in summer vacation on 28th July, 2004) at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Chaukhandi Chowk, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi - 110018 with the core objective of understanding, implementing and inspiring / sharing the true message of Gurbani among mankind.

Students, of all ages and religion are welcome to the classes for an all-round development with emphasis and inspiration from Gurmat. In this line, Sub Junior (5 - 9 Years), Junior (10 - 14 years) and Senior (15+ years) sections are thus formed with Sevadaars teaching these three different sections with age-apt methodologies.

 

Apart from Gurmat Classes, formal Kirtan Learning Classes (Tabla and Harmonium) have been going on regularly for more than 5 years now. Since, last one year Certified Degree Course in Music has been initiated for the Students.

Shaster Vidya (Gataka), Turban Tying, Sport activities, English Learning and School Level education classes have also been organized in the past, and a conscious effort is made every year to incorporate these classes in the curriculum of Gurmat Class.

 

With Guru Sahib Jee Kirpa, three out-of station Gurmat Camps - one in Gurudwara Akal Ashram, Sohana (Mohali), Gurudwara Rampur Khera, Dasuya (Hoshiarpur) and another in Gurudwara Bhangani Sahib, Paonta Sahib were successfully organized apart from a few local camps as recreational components of the curriculum
